Three leagues in the postseason. A 130th Boston Marathon in the books. Romeo Beckham designing World Cup jackets. Lauren Betts signing with Reebok. Off Season x F1 Collection is dropping. The tunnel is going to look different every single night for the next six weeks.

Here is what I am watching.

The Boston Marathon, a 26.2 mile Runway.

Culture + Community

The marathon is a style moment. It just does not get covered like one.

John Korir smashed the course record yesterday at 2:01:52, the fastest finish in the race's 130-year history. Averaging sub-4:40 per mile. I genuinely am speechless. Sharon Lokedi went back-to-back in the women's race. American Jess McClain broke the all-time U.S. women's Boston record at fifth place. BOSTON STRONG.

But here is the thing. Every single one of those 30,000 runners made a kit decision this morning. Compression or loose. Singlet or tee. Color-blocked or tonal. The elites were running in gear that brands spent years engineering. The amateurs were running in pieces that said something about who they are on the hardest day of their year.

Performance wear is fashion now. Nike, On, Hoka, Tracksmith, Soar, New Balance, NoBull etc. These are lifestyle brands that happen to make racing kit. The Boston Marathon is where all of that gets stress-tested in public.

Next up: London Marathon on Sunday. New Balance just took over a London pie-and-mash shop to launch their 1080v15 and TCS London Marathon Training Range. This is what I mean about running being a style lab. Brands are treating marathon weekends like fashion week drops now, and the two-week Boston-to-London window is where you see it most clearly.

BUFFALO IS BACK.

Competition

The Sabres made the playoffs for the first time since 2011. 15 years. Go pour one out at Bar-Bill. IYKYK.

They won Game 1 over the Bruins on Sunday night, 4-3. Tage Thompson scored twice. KeyBank Center lost its mind. And for the first time in a decade and a half, a Buffalo tunnel walk has postseason stakes behind it. WE ARE GIDDY.

This is the stuff that makes style mean something. A team's fit does different work in March than it does in late April. Confidence looks different when you are playing for a Cup. The Sabres have been building a tunnel identity all season, and now we get to see how it holds up under pressure.

Series to watch this week:

  • Sabres vs. Bruins (Game 2 tonight, Game 3 Thursday in Boston). The Atlantic Division title vs. the wild card that refuses to die.

  • Canadiens vs. Lightning. Montreal took Game 1 in overtime. Slafkovsky hat trick. This series is going to be a tunnel walk gold mine.

The playoff tunnel is a completely different animal from the regular season tunnel. Higher stakes, more intention, less experimentation. This is where style stops being personal and starts being tribal.

The Celtics mean business

Competition

Game 1 was wild. 29 threes tied an NBA record. Jaylen Brown looked like he wanted the ball every possession.

The defending champs from 2024 came up short last year. This year feels different. Tatum is easing his way back into the flow. The bench is deeper. The fits coming into TD Garden have already signaled that this team is not coasting.

The Celtics tunnel has quietly become one of the most watched in the league. Tatum's Dior runs. Jaylen's Boston Syndicate pieces. Derrick White finding his style voice. Jrue Holiday's clean, grown-man uniform. This is a roster that dresses like they know what is at stake.

Watching for Game 2: whether anyone matches the energy of the on-court performance with a tunnel fit that says the same thing. Dressing like you are going to win is its own kind of mindset work.

Three days until the NFL Draft

Culture + Community

The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off Thursday night in Pittsburgh. Fernando Mendoza is the projected #1 to the Raiders.

The draft has quietly become the single biggest men's style night of the year. Not the red carpet. Not the ESPYs. The Draft. Because this is where young athletes introduce themselves to the world as people, not just prospects.

Last year gave us Travis Hunter's custom Dior look and a wave of HBCU-nod tailoring that reshaped how we think about draft dressing. This year's class has even more personality and more stylists paying attention.

Who I am tracking on Thursday night:

  • Fernando Mendoza. How does the projected #1 dress for the most important moment of his career so far?

  • Abdul Carter, Ashton Jeanty, and the top-five picks. These are the looks the cameras will sit on longest.

  • The unexpected ones. Draft night style usually belongs to someone nobody saw coming. That is half the fun.

Also watching: the stylist landscape. Chad Michael Johnson, Infamisstyling, Styled by Haylo, Kylie Gelfand, and Gentsplaybook are all shaping how this generation shows up. Full breakdown in Thursday's coverage.

Off Season goes to the paddock

Education

This drops Thursday. Same day as the Draft. Pay attention.

Formula 1 has always been the fashion sport. The paddock has been a runway for decades. LVMH is a title sponsor. Charlotte Tilbury has a partnership. Every major luxury house has a foothold in the sport.

Off Season has earned one of the most coveted partnerships in sport.

And the brand is the right fit for the moment. Kristin Juszczyk built this label from custom NFL game-day pieces into an actual fashion house in under two years. NFL, NBA, WNBA, Team USA for Milano Cortina, now Revolve, now F1. That is a trajectory most labels spend a decade trying to hit.

The collection: seven pieces. Five women's, two unisex. A cropped track jacket with a corset waist and lacing. Low-rise track shorts. A sleeveless twist top with F1 embroidery. A racer jersey in tricot and mesh. Fashion pieces pulling from motorsport's design language.

F1's audience is 827 million globally. 42% women, and climbing. The stars are aligned.

The Off Season x F1 capsule drops April 23 on F1 Store and OffSeasonBrand.com. Put it on your calendar.

Four more things worth your attention

Competition + Culture

Romeo Beckham's brand Intra is making World Cup jackets. The FIFA World Cup starts June 11 on U.S. soil. Mixed jackets repping multiple nations at once. This is the kind of product that will define summer tunnel walks across every league.

Lauren Betts is officially a Reebok athlete. The UCLA star signed with Reebok ahead of her WNBA arrival. Reebok is quietly building the most compelling women's basketball roster in the business.

Aliyah Boston became the highest-paid WNBA player ever. The new CBA is already doing what we said it would do. Higher pay means bigger platforms. Bigger platforms mean bigger style moments.

adidas x Wales Bonner dropped snakeskin Predators. Soccer cleats as luxury objects. Wales Bonner continues to do work that nobody else in the space is doing.

Bubble teams with style bench depth

Confidence

One playoff spot. Three teams.

Ottawa holds the fourth and final PWHL playoff spot with 36 points. Toronto and New York are tied behind them at 34. Every remaining game matters. And every tunnel walk between now and Saturday is a chance for these players to show what they've built.

This is the stretch where identity gets tested. On the ice and in the tunnel. The players on these three rosters have spent the season developing real, distinct style points of view.

Watch the Ottawa vs. New York matchup this weekend and watch the tunnel alongside the box score. The style bench depth across these three teams is something the league is about to have to reckon with.

Full breakdown is live on Instagram now. Read it here and tell me who I missed.

That's it for this week.

Reply and tell me who you are watching in the first round. What team's tunnel walks are you most excited about? Which draft pick do you think is going to surprise us on Thursday?

Next week: full NFL Draft style recap. And we keep tracking the playoff tunnels all the way through.

Until then.
